Upon waking up this morning around 6, people are stating to leave the office and it would seem that we got very lucky. The storm, so I read, to a last minute turn to the east, avoiding us a direct hit. However, that means that Little Cayman would get a slammed.
The sun will be up soon and we shall see what really happened.
Ill take lots of pictures and post them here later today.
Glad to hear that GC may not have gotten hit too badly – we’re supposed to be coming down next weekend (11/15) to the East end – Morritt’s. If you get out that way, we’d love any information you could provide.
Prayers and best wishes with you all, and the folks on the Sister Islands!

Anxious of course to see this late Hurricane, we were just thinking you were “out of the woods” for another season (!)- we hope all is ok there, especially LC/Brac who sound to be fairing badly? We are due out again to GCM in a couple of weeks time- how is it looking on 7MB etc?? Much in the way of erosion?
Take care and keep safe.
Just talked to a friend who is on 7 Mile up near the yacht club and he said the beach is fine. Apparently even during the storm it wasn’t too bad on the beach side of the house, the east side was taking the brunt of the winds.
