Good morning,
Its before 6am and the sun is not yet up. Julie & I did some last minute preparation this morning.
If you look at the picture below, its obvious that we are not going to escape this one like we did for Gustav a few months ago.
The storm is still a Category 1 but will probably be a 2 by the time the center gets close to us. Its raining very heavily here and the wind is quite strong! I am typing really fast since we lost internet service earlier and its back now but who know for how long.
Keep us in your thought and prayers! Ill every few hours if internet/power permits.

Thanks so much for this site. I have family in the Caymans and any little bit of info is welcomed. (Daughter, husband and grand daughter live in South Sound. I’m in Canada) Best of luck to you and most of all be safe. Our prayers are with you.
Hams should connect to Echolink or IRLP. Reports received are given directly to the National Hurricane Center.
http://www.voipwx.net gives details.

My thoughts are with you, Micho, and Julie. Will you stay at home or seek refuge at your office again? We have a good friend who arrived there on Wednesday and spent a great deal of time yesteday helping to move cars for one of the dealerships, as well as prep his condo. So glad to have you for info! Not much news of Paloma main stream here in CA.
