{"id":947,"date":"2009-06-14T19:28:08","date_gmt":"2009-06-15T00:28:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=947"},"modified":"2009-06-15T20:58:51","modified_gmt":"2009-06-16T01:58:51","slug":"north-wall-diving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=947","title":{"rendered":"North Wall diving"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I went scuba diving with two good friends of mine and some of their friends (was great to meet you all!) on the &#8220;North Wall&#8221; of Grand Cayman.<\/p>\n<p>The wall is that there is a &#8220;dropoff&#8221; and you basically swim along the wall.\u00a0 The drop off is 4000+ ft deep.\u00a0 Imagine swimming over the edge of the Grand Canyon; probably the best comparison.\u00a0\u00a0 You are basically swimming above an abyss ; its quite a strange feeling.\u00a0 So much water below; I guess its the closest feeling to flying one can get!\u00a0 Very nice.<\/p>\n<p>The dive was spectacular ; turtles, eagle rays, lobster, moray eel, barracuda and all kinds of other stuff.<\/p>\n<p>One of the three eagle rays. Quite big, very impressive sight.
