During the night however, we had very loud thunder and lots of lightening. This is the closest that Ike came to us.\u00a0 More than close enough if you ask me! Lets hope this is the last system in a while.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/ike_cuba.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-619\" title=\"ike_cuba\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/ike_cuba.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"474\" height=\"409\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/ike_cuba.jpg 474w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/ike_cuba-300x258.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I filmed the lightening in the Youtube video below. You will see that there was lots of it. Not my best video ever, but gives you a good idea. What was impressive is that it was one after another and not one ever 30 seconds or so. Similar to after Gustav in intensity.\u00a0 Notice that near then end of the video, a wave comes right at me and I had to get out of the way.
