{"id":561,"date":"2008-08-29T06:34:36","date_gmt":"2008-08-29T11:34:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=561"},"modified":"2008-08-29T07:00:22","modified_gmt":"2008-08-29T12:00:22","slug":"hurricane-gustav-update-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=561","title":{"rendered":"Hurricane Gustav &#8211; Update 9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s a beautiful morning in Grand Cayman.\u00a0 There is a very pleasant breeze from east to west and the bird are chirping!\u00a0 Nothing yet in terms ouf rain or foul weather.<\/p>\n<p>The satellite dish is down and anything of value is at my office which is a shelter building.\u00a0 I almost feel like I have moved out of the house. Sunday will probably be spent putting my life back together like last year after Dean passed on the 20th of August.<\/p>\n<p>The storm is still scheduled to pass almost directly over Grand Cayman.\u00a0 The good news is that its still a tropical storm over Jamaica (although almost over ocean now) The forecast calls for a category 1 storm right between Grand Cayman &amp; the sister islands.\u00a0 Not all that bad, but not all that great.\u00a0 Category 1 is good considering a few days ago it was said it could be a category 3!\u00a0 This is probably the price to pay form sun &amp; beaches while people in Canada freeze in February!
