{"id":3486,"date":"2017-11-18T11:13:34","date_gmt":"2017-11-18T16:13:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=3486"},"modified":"2024-11-18T09:21:59","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T14:21:59","slug":"east-end-delight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=3486","title":{"rendered":"East End delight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning I needed (and wanted) to run +-15km in preparation for the 1\/2 Marathon in 2-weeks time.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of doing my regular run, I drove to the East End, while it was still dark, to see the sunrise and then my run.\u00a0 It was a bit cloudy (and quite windy) but still managed to get some nice shots.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?attachment_id=3487\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3487\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3487\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_1043.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_1043.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_1043-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?attachment_id=3488\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3488\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3488\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_1044.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_1044.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_1044-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also tried my hand a doing a time capture.\u00a0 Not bad!\u00a0 Its a bit shaky but with the wind it was difficult to keep my phone standing up.\u00a0 Decent result for a first try.\u00a0 As you can see, quite a bit of cloud cover and the wind was moving them along swiftly.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/28TU-yvRfJ4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And then the run, mostly along the Queens Highway &#8211; the end and the northern side of Grand Cayman and past the Reef Resort &amp; Morritts.
