{"id":3076,"date":"2016-02-29T21:36:21","date_gmt":"2016-03-01T02:36:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=3076"},"modified":"2016-02-29T21:36:21","modified_gmt":"2016-03-01T02:36:21","slug":"some-glitz-and-glam-and-a-hacker-guy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=3076","title":{"rendered":"Some glitz and glam and a hacker guy!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So every year there is the Cayman Alternative Investment Summit. \u00a0Financiers from around the world network, listen to experts and mingle.<\/p>\n<p>Once business is done, there is time for some fun. \u00a0At the end of the week, there is the &#8220;Legends Tennis&#8221; where ex-pros and celebrities play tennis while the regular folk sip champagne on the sidelines in the VIP section \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>First person I got to see was Sir Richard Branson. \u00a0Note the stitches above his eye. \u00a0The story is that he walked into a glass door at a local store.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?attachment_id=3078\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3078\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3078\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1243.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1243\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1243.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1243-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next up, the lovely Anna Kournikova, definitely a (male) fan favorite. Anna was one of the top tennis players in the world in the late 90&#8217;s and early 2000&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?attachment_id=3079\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3079\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3079\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1250.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1250\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1250.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1250-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But, the highlight of the week for me was this guy. \u00a0We had Kevin Mitnick, the most famous hacker in the world at the conference. In the 1990&#8217;s, he was a bit of a bad boy, where at one point he was on the FBI&#8217;s most wanted list and a fugitive on the run. \u00a0Anyway, now he is a renowned speaker on Cyber Security matters and has also written three very interesting books (I have read them all).\u00a0He gave a great talk and scared everyone in attendance with hacking demo&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?attachment_id=3080\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3080\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3080\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1211.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1211\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1211.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_1211-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the mix of it all, I even got to spend a bit of time with him for\u00a0dinner. Really nice guy. \u00a0I took him, his guest and a friend of mine to Calypso Grill in West Bay. He liked Calypso so much that he told me that we went back 2 evenings later.
