{"id":304,"date":"2007-12-23T09:18:25","date_gmt":"2007-12-23T14:18:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=304"},"modified":"2007-12-23T09:18:25","modified_gmt":"2007-12-23T14:18:25","slug":"the-eagle-errr-the-in-laws-have-landed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=304","title":{"rendered":"The eagle &#8230; errr &#8230; the in-laws have landed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Friday, Julie&#8217;s folks arrived in Grand Cayman for 3-weeks with us on our sunny little island.\u00a0 They unfortunately were delayed 4 days because of the massive snow storm in Montreal last week-end.\u00a0 They could only be re-booked the following Friday due to most flight being full with Christmas vacations &amp; everything. Its their first visit to Cayman and so far they seem very pleased to be here and enjoying themselves.<\/p>\n<p>On their first full day here, we took them to one of the most spectacular places in Cayman : Rum Point.<\/p>\n<p>Notice the great Canadian &#8220;winter-white&#8221; skin color!\u00a0  \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/img_0041.jpg\" title=\"img_0041.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/img_0041.jpg\" alt=\"img_0041.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was a spectacular day here in Cayman. Virtually no waves, light wind and blue sky.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/img_0048.jpg\" title=\"img_0048.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/img_0048.jpg\" alt=\"img_0048.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We did a lot of snorkeling.\u00a0 About 100-150 meters out, there is a coral reef with lots of fish to be seen.\u00a0 The water clarity is fantastic;\u00a0 you can see for many feet around and of course down to the bottom.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/img_0064.jpg\" title=\"img_0064.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/img_0064.jpg\" alt=\"img_0064.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday, Julie&#8217;s folks arrived in Grand Cayman for 3-weeks with us on our sunny little island.\u00a0 They unfortunately were delayed 4 days because of the massive snow storm in Montreal last week-end.\u00a0 They could only be re-booked the following Friday due to most flight being full with Christmas vacations &amp; everything.
