\u00a0All the great tourist things of course! \u00a0Here are some of the things we did and places we saw.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday night is Pasta Night at the Grand Old House. \u00a0For 10CI, a massive plate of pasta with all the veggies and toppings you wish, cooked right in front of you. \u00a0Lots of fun. \u00a0 Don&#8217;t forget to keep a few pieces of pasta to toss to the hungry tarpon fish!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1561-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2112\" title=\"IMG_1561-001\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1561-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1561-001.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1561-001-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Stingray City &#8230; duh! \u00a0How could a trip to Grand Cayman not include a visit to this place? \u00a0For those who have guests who have never (or not in a long time &#8230;) snorkeled, I recommend a trial run in a pool or shallow spot before the real thing on the snorkel stops of the tour. \u00a0At 72, don&#8217;t you think my old man looks in pretty good shape? \u00a0Over the week-end we not only\u00a0snorkeled\u00a0on the Stingray City tour but also at Rum Point and Eden Rock.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1600-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2113\" title=\"IMG_1600-001\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1600-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1600-001.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1600-001-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On the boat to Stingray City, note the sophisticated &#8220;Cruise control&#8221; on the boat! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1579-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2111\" title=\"IMG_1579-001\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1579-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1579-001.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1579-001-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Drive around the east end. \u00a0I always enjoy going east. \u00a0So pretty and peaceful. \u00a0 Here we made a quick stop at the blowholes before making our way to Tukka for an excellent Sunday brunch.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1623-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2114\" title=\"IMG_1623-001\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1623-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1623-001.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1623-001-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Of course, no east end run is complete without continuing on to Rum Point. \u00a0 Remember to look out of the MASSIVE barracuda under the pier. \u00a0 This fellow has been around for as long as I remember. \u00a0He hangs out under the pier, +-1\/2 out. \u00a0He is very large and scary looking (I estimate this fish to be around 3 1\/2 &#8211; 4ft long) but I have never heard of any incidents. \u00a0This week-end I saw one snorkeler get within 3ft of this beast. \u00a0I must be chicken since I stayed at least 10ft away.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1631-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2115\" title=\"IMG_1631-001\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1631-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1631-001.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1631-001-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We also hit up the Turtle farm where we were lucky to see a turtle in training with two instructors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1578-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2110\" title=\"IMG_1578-001\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1578-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1578-001.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_1578-001-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All-in-all &#8230; great stuff to do with ones dad on Fathers day (long) week-end in Grand Cayman.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This fathers day, I had the\u00a0immense\u00a0pleasure of having my dad in Grand Cayman ; how cool is that?
