{"id":1771,"date":"2011-09-27T20:31:43","date_gmt":"2011-09-28T01:31:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=1771"},"modified":"2011-09-27T20:31:43","modified_gmt":"2011-09-28T01:31:43","slug":"rainbow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=1771","title":{"rendered":"Rainbow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the last week or so we have been getting lots of rain.\u00a0 Not all day rain, but lots of isolated showers like in my previous post.\u00a0 Today it rained so hard that I postponed lunch with a colleague for 15 minutes.\u00a0 When we left the building there was a bit of drizzle and by the time we got to the place it was nice and sunny again.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the afternoon this scenario repeated itself.\u00a0 However, got a great sight from my office building &#8230; a full rainbow. Very nice!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_0675.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1772\" title=\"IMG_0675\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_0675.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_0675.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_0675-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, all of this rain has to go somewhere and do something.\u00a0 Here is a perfect example of what water mixed with very warm weather can do which is not to far from where we live.\u00a0 This house is under construction and has been &#8220;inactive&#8221; for a while.\u00a0 My guess is that they are waiting for some more money and they will resume construction at that time.<\/p>\n<p>However, what was a perfectly cleared front lawn and drive path, is now a sort of overgrown jungle.\u00a0 It would essentially be impossible to go in there with a car and not get it terribly scratched.\u00a0 A heavy duty weed whacker would be needed.
