{"id":165,"date":"2007-06-10T07:12:11","date_gmt":"2007-06-10T12:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=165"},"modified":"2007-06-10T14:57:24","modified_gmt":"2007-06-10T19:57:24","slug":"week-in-the-british-virgin-islands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/?p=165","title":{"rendered":"Week in the British Virgin Islands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I flew last sunday to BVI for some work at our office over there.\u00a0 Absolutely beautiful place ; mountains, lush vegetation, not too developed, etc.\u00a0 Its a hassle to get there though : Cayman to Miami to SanJuan to Tortola (BVI).\u00a0 The return trip is exactly the same.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The hills are a great challenge to drive ; very steep, sharp turns and brake smoking descents. Fun, fun! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 My hotel was on one of the nicer beaches on the island ; Cane Garden Bay.\u00a0 Glad to be back in Cayman with Julie now!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0A view of Cane Garden Bay.\u00a0 My hotel was just off the beach, at the other end.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image161\" title=\"img_3944.jpg\" alt=\"img_3944.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/img_3944.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Brewers bay ; a spectacular beach with coral reefs just meters from shore. See them?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image162\" title=\"img_3947.jpg\" alt=\"img_3947.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/img_3947.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>View from the office I was using.\u00a0 You can see how lush it is compared to Cayman.
