I saw today some of the largest waves I have ever seen here.\u00a0 In any case, they are the biggest since the close call of Hurricane Dean that I have seen.<\/p>\n<p>I am just guessing, but probably the passing a few hundred miles away of Hurricane Tomas may have something to do with it.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the wave action at Eden rock.\u00a0 Those stairs are where you go into the water to snorkel.\u00a0 None of that happening right now.\u00a0 The water is all milky anyway.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0013-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1444\" title=\"IMG_0013-1\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0013-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0013-1.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0013-1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is the main commercial area in George Town, right in front of the stores and restaurants.\u00a0 These waves were putting water in the street with and made quite a &#8220;thud&#8221; on impact.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0016-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1445\" title=\"IMG_0016-1\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0016-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0016-1.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0016-1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0017-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1446\" title=\"IMG_0017-1\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0017-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0017-1.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0017-1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The port dock where all the containers are usually located got quite a beating also.\u00a0 It was quite a show.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0019-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1447\" title=\"IMG_0019-1\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0019-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0019-1.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_0019-1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lastly, the chicken! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 A subject I like to discuss once in a while.\u00a0 I still find it funny that they roam freely all over the place.\u00a0 They don&#8217;t seem to bother anyone and just &#8220;do their thing&#8221; of roaming around town.\u00a0 I had always noticed upon arriving to work in the early morning that the roosters made quite a symphony.\u00a0\u00a0 Basically, when I get to the 3rd floor of where I work ( I use an outside staircase), I can always hear what seems like hundreds of roosters from near and afar. It always impressed me &#8230; not sure why though.\u00a0 Anyway, for your viewing pleasure, here they are: the morning George Town chicken symphony.
