During the day I was told it had hit 110 (43c) at one point.\u00a0 Ouch &#8230; back in Cayman for cooler weather now.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG00089-20100801-1536.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1275\" title=\"IMG00089-20100801-1536\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG00089-20100801-1536.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"418\" srcset=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG00089-20100801-1536.jpg 480w, https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG00089-20100801-1536-300x261.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One update: The Kittiwake boat from my previous post.\u00a0 It has now been postponed till after hurricane season.\u00a0 There was too much risk towing the boat which if a hurricane or tropical storm forms could send it adrift which is not great. So the sinking should now be sometime in the fall.\u00a0 No official date yet.<\/p>\n<p>and yes .. hurricane season is now in full swing! August and September usually are the busiest.\u00a0 Three years ago we had Dean and two years ago we had Gustav in August.
