Feel sorry for those there on vacation and who paid 2800$ a week to be at the Club Med which was 500m from the hotel I was in.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a picture of the hotel where i was.\u00a0 It was actually a condo that they rent out when the owners are not there.\u00a0 Very nice and roomy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image113\" title=\"2007_03_27-004.jpg\" alt=\"2007_03_27-004.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/2007_03_27-004.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The hotel was on Grace Bay.\u00a0 Probabably the nicest and most known beach on Providenciales, which is the name of the Island in Turks &#038; Caicos where I was.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image116\" title=\"2007_03_27-031.jpg\" alt=\"2007_03_27-031.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/2007_03_27-031.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the most amazing places is not a beach. Its called &#8220;Chalk Sound&#8221; ; its a sort of bay with small islands and amazing turkoise waters.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image114\" title=\"2007_03_27-015.jpg\" alt=\"2007_03_27-015.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/2007_03_27-015.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Finally, with all the rain on the island, I witnessed the problem with not having any rain sewers (none of the islands have any)\u00a0 Basically, when it rains too much, huge puddles form all over the place.\u00a0 People with small cars (like i have with my rental car) have problems getting around.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image115\" title=\"2007_03_27-017.jpg\" alt=\"2007_03_27-017.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/2007_03_27-017.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now back to Cayman.\u00a0 On saturday morning, there was the annual &#8220;Humane Society Dog show&#8221;. I decided to go with Aipa and check it out.\u00a0It was great fun. Below is a picture of some dogs being judged for one of the competitions.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image118\" title=\"2007_04_01-005.jpg\" alt=\"2007_04_01-005.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/2007_04_01-005.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I entered Aipa into two categories ; Best &#8220;First time entry&#8221; (dog who never were in the show before) and Best rescued (since we got Aipa from the SPCA we were elegible) Guess what???\u00a0 For the &#8220;Best new entry&#8221; category\u00a0; there were about 50-60 dogs, Aipa got 3rd prize. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image117\" title=\"2007_04_01-007.jpg\" alt=\"2007_04_01-007.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/micho.org\/cayblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/2007_04_01-007.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Finally, one evening Julie &#038; I went with Aipa for a walk in another area of the island.\u00a0 There was a horse in a field.
